The Franklin Mint's second vinyl celebrity doll represents Diana, Princess of Wales in her post-divorce years. The first doll was advertised within a few months of Diana's tragic accident in Paris. She bears a striking resemblance to the Princess, one of the best portrait dolls created after Diana's sixteen year public life. The collection commemorates a variety of events from Diana's life & is comprised of casual wear, evening wear, charity work & State events. These pages were composed to share information because the Franklin Mint doesn't always keep its customers informed of what is available. It doesn't always keep its web site up to date & its customer service reps aren't trained in all the product lines. It's a shame because they do such brilliant doll products. They'd make a fortune if they listened to those of us who want to give them money.

I would LOVE to work with them in creating a Franklin Mint People's Princess Exclusive Limited Edition doll for members of the Princess Diana Doll Club. Here is my proposal. To the right is a doll that does not exist. I am not trying to put one over on anyone, I'm making a suggestion to the Franklin Mint as to what I would like to buy. This is not a real photo; it is half a dozen photos cobbled together to create the illusion of my ideal doll. With shoes. Green shoes. Green satin shoes, with little gold dealies on the tops.
